Dear Fellow Tennis Lovers

We held our annual meeting at the CE rec. center.  A number of issues were tabled and discussed.  The following highlights we are anticipating for the upcoming season:

.at some point during this year we will become incorporated in order to comply with the wishes of the Town of Caledon.

.we will be receiving a clubhouse provided to us by the Town that will be equipped with hydro.  It will be placed on our east side encroaching into the 'foul ball' territory of the adjacent baseball park.  Construction will begin in the late fall of this year.

.we are working with the Town to improve the quality of our lights and will update once there is something to share.

.we will be adding a few new programs this season. One will be a mixed doubles social running between 10:30am to 12:30pm every Sunday. We will also have dedicated times for a youth camp with a tennis pro. These details will follow. Finally we are moving our Women’s doubles program from Monday evening to Wednesday evening. Mixed doubles will move from Wednesday to Friday.

.we have been advised by the Town to generate more revenue to cover future 'shared costs' such as court repairs.  To do this we will be increasing our membership rates (refer to our Membership tab to see fees for 2026) and endeavor to increase our membership size.

.we need more volunteers to help us operate the club.  There are currently only two volunteer Executives that are handling all of the club's needs, outside our program volunteers.  This must change going forward as we expand our services to CE tennis members.
